With a pivotal aim to create a vibrant community platform where visitors are part of a cultural experience, MAS has a diverse public programme including local and global exhibitions, special events, art fairs, panel discussions, workshops, and educational initiatives.
Art Studio at Manarat Al Saadiyat is a multi-disciplinary arts space designed to bring hands-on arts education programmes, art classes, drop-in sessions, workshops and outreach initiatives to students, adults, children and families in the Emirate.
The Photography Studio is committed to developing and enhancing the professional growth of talent in Abu Dhabi and beyond. The space hosts specialized workshops and courses conducted by professional photographers, along with a large workshop space, a makeup and dressing room, a digital lab and a studio available for rent.
Manarat Al Saadiyat offers 15,400 square metres of space, including three equipped galleries dedicated to temporary art exhibitions, an atrium, a 250-seat Auditorium, a theatre, a garden area and an outdoor terrace, in addition to the Art Studio and Photography Studio.

As is fitting for an arts and cultural district, MAS is located behind the stunning Norman Foster-designed UAE Pavilion. One of the city’s most iconic buildings, this huge golden copper-coloured building represents the shape of sand dunes in the desert. Originally unveiled at the 2010 World Exhibition in Shanghai, it was then transported piece by piece back to Abu Dhabi and rebuilt on Saadiyat Island.
